DNA Paternity Testing

Deoxyribonucleic Acid (DNA) is the genetic building block of life. Except for identical twins, everyone has a unique DNA pattern. DNA paternity testing is a procedure that is performed to determine parentage.

Since DNA is passed down from mother and father to their child, DNA identification provides a conclusive way to determine biological relationships.

Within the legal and child support enforcement communities, DNA identification has become the most accepted method for determining paternity. Wuesthoff Reference Laboratories uses Polymerase Chain Reaction (PCR*) technology to provide, in most cases, a 99.99% probability of paternity.
